About Rocket Lab

Rocket Lab is a comprehensive space enterprise offering responsive rocket launches, spacecraft design, manufacturing, payloads, satellite components, and more, aiming to democratize space access. Our rockets and satellites support significant global missions in scientific research, Earth monitoring, climate change initiatives, national security, and cutting-edge tech demonstrations.

Our Electron rocket is the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket, having deployed over 230 satellites, while we advance Neutron, a reusable medium-lift rocket for larger constellation launches. Our Space Systems division develops satellites and components selected for NASA missions to the Moon and Mars, and parts utilized on the James Webb Space Telescope.

  • Execute functional testing with mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment
  • Develop and document new production processes ensuring full traceability
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives as the production capability grows
  • Adapt and problem-solve within an agile, rapidly changing team setting

Qualifications

  • Trade certification with over 4 years in precision manufacturing
  • Excellent manual skills in assembling complex mechanical components
  • Experience in quality control and inspection using precision measurement instruments
  • Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and work with automated test systems
  • Familiarity with high cleanliness standards including oxygen service environments
  • Comfortable creating new workflows in ambiguous conditions rather than following established procedures

Preferred Skills
