Project Manager

Overview

MAWREF Logistics Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to act as the client's representative and oversee projects from inception to completion. This role requires ensuring that all project deliverables are met within the defined scope, budget, quality, and timeline while effectively coordinating all involved stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client liaison for all stages of project execution.
• Lead and manage detailed project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinate resources efficiently.
• Track and control project scope, progress, risks, and overall performance metrics.
• Oversee consultants, contractors, and suppliers, guaranteeing compliance with contractual obligations.
• Engage proactively with government entities and vital stakeholders to maintain alignment.
• Review and authorize project documentation including reports, designs, submissions, and any change requests.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, health, safety, environmental protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Troubleshoot project challenges and facilitate smooth project closure and handover.
• Provide support to the Facilities Management team during the Defects Liability Period and operational phases.
• Utilize a package-based project delivery method, demonstrating strong subcontractor coordination skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related disciplines.
• Between 8 and 12 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years as a client representative.
• Demonstrated expertise managing major construction, infrastructure, or real estate development projects.
• PMP certification is preferred; certification in PRINCE2 or a comparable methodology is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in project planning tools and techniques, budgeting, contract management, and risk mitigation.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Exceptional leadership qualities, stakeholder engagement capabilities, communication skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages is required.
