About the Role
Wiin is a prominent independent design and client-side project management firm focused on multi-site retail fitout projects and signage rebrand initiatives throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific region. We are currently seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our Melbourne-based team remotely and take charge of new store launches, relocations, and refurbishments mainly in hospitality, retail, or similar multi-site sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute projects following the wiin project management framework.
- Develop and oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables until completion.
- Coordinate activities among clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project success.
- Handle procurement management, including preparing RFQ packages, supplier selection, and ongoing liaison and supervision.
- Manage permit and council application processes and approvals on clients' behalf.
- Track project scope, budget, schedule, and provide reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Forge and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Supervise contractors to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum five years of proven project management experience delivering fitout projects in hospitality, retail, commercial, or construction environments; experience in food sector is advantageous.
- Solid knowledge of construction disciplines including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural.
- Capability to independently manage projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination abilities.
- Effective time management skills to juggle multiple fast-paced projects and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Competency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and offering practical solutions.
- Self-driven, proactive, and resilient under pressure.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable utilizing online project management systems.

Work Conditions and Travel

- Required home office setup includes a high-performance computer, two 23-inch monitors, and a reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle is mandatory.
- Some interstate travel may be necessary according to business demands.
