Project Technician

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Project Technician to assist our Project Engineering and Site Leadership teams. This full-time onsite position involves providing both administrative and technical assistance to support different project stages such as documentation management, submittals, and the preparation of job order packages.

Key Duties

• Oversee document control tasks, including managing submittals, receipts, and compiling the final record book.
• Keep detailed logs of all incoming and outgoing transmittals.
• Organize and monitor client documents, including specifications and drawings.
• Prepare necessary documentation for third-party inspections.
• Support Project Engineers and Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Input sales orders related to engineered projects.
• Maintain design, production, and shipping schedules via ERP systems.
• Create job order packages, verifying bill of materials and man-hours.
• Scan and archive job order packages returned from production.
• Assist in activities related to final project closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in customer service or technical support roles.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat software.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
• Strong organization and effective communication skills.

Work Environment and Additional Requirements

• This is an on-site position within a manufacturing setting, which involves exposure to machinery and production processes.
• Full-time employment with potential for extended hours based on operational demands.
• English language communication skills are essential.
• Ability to communicate and function effectively within Saudi Arabia and with a diverse multinational workforce is preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are necessary.
• Training will be provided for use of the CSI Ametek ERP system.
• A motivated individual capable of handling additional responsibilities under demanding timelines.

Compensation

Salary and incentives will be determined based on market standards, experience, skills, and geographic location. Compensation is offered in USD.
