Role Overview

Currie & Brown is seeking a Project Director to join our project management team in Al Ain, UAE, to lead a high-tech manufacturing project. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of project definition and delivery.

Core Responsibilities

• Define the project scope and ensure successful delivery according to established plans.
• Create and implement project delivery strategies and control mechanisms to guarantee effective progress.
• Lead and manage the performance of the project team within Currie & Brown.
• Develop plans and schedules independently, manage budgets using existing financial systems, and identify any deviations to maintain control over project objectives.
• Leverage industry best practices to evaluate and enhance project processes and policies, providing informed recommendations to senior management.
• Foster proactive collaboration across the organization to ensure alignment and meet client expectations.
• Provide senior management with updates on progress, challenges, and expert advice to support project success aligned with goals.
• Identify and communicate business risks or issues with mitigation proposals to senior managers to safeguard project integrity.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to keep all parties informed on project status and expectations.
• Contribute to delivering Currie & Brown’s vision within the project scope.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Professional certification or accreditation in project management.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of effective team management.
• Experience managing projects during both pre-contract and post-contract stages.
• In-depth understanding of industry best practices.
• Strong skills in contract administration.
• Commercial insight with proven abilities in managing relationships with external stakeholders.
• Recognized as a trusted advisor by clients.
