Job Summary

This role involves teaching computer science courses at various levels including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral. The position requires active participation in research, curriculum enhancement, mentoring students, and managing academic and administrative responsibilities. Candidates with solid academic qualifications and expertise in current and emerging technological fields are invited to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard instruction through lectures, workshops, practicals, and project supervision across academic levels.
• Continuously revise and enhance curricula to align with the latest academic and industry trends.
• Support student growth through mentoring focused on academics, research initiatives, innovation, and career advancement.
• Engage in meaningful research with outputs published in leading indexed journals and guide research projects and thesis work.
• Pursue sponsored research opportunities, patents, and consultancy engagements while fostering interdisciplinary and industry-linked research.
• Contribute to the governance of the department by participating in academic planning, quality assurance, and accreditation processes (NBA, NAAC, NIRF, AICTE, UGC).
• Develop and maintain partnerships with industries and professional organizations to facilitate faculty development programs, conferences, workshops, hackathons, and support start-ups and innovation activities.

Eligibility Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines from a recognized university.
• Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
• Compliance with UGC/AICTE norms for the position applied for.
• Proven record of quality research publications in indexed journals and demonstrated experience in teaching, academic management, and student mentorship.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Robust academic and research portfolio including publications in Scopus, SCI, SCIE indexed journals.
• Experience securing research funding through projects, consultancy, patents, and grants.
• Ability to guide Ph.D. researchers and lead research teams effectively.
• Familiarity with accreditation and quality control standards such as NBA, NAAC, NIRF.
• Strong communication, presentation, and student interaction skills.
• Proficiency in curriculum design and implementation of outcome-based education.
• Capability to foster industry tie-ups and collaborations for research development.
