Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the produce section clean, orderly, and well-zoned throughout operational hours.
- Regularly check product quality, rotate stock, and promptly remove any expired or unsatisfactory items.
- Ensure pricing and signage are accurate, complying with established procedures for ordering, clearances, markups, markdowns, and labels.
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols, including sanitation, cold chain maintenance, temperature monitoring, and correct handling with compliance to expiration dates.
- Manage stocking and downstocking tasks, apply product protection measures when necessary, and arrange display fixtures such as modulars to keep the inventory fully available.
- Follow all health and safety policies to sustain a safe, clean workplace environment.
- Demonstrate flexible availability, including willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts as required by store demands.
Challenges
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced setting with a high volume of tasks, including overnight shifts, while maintaining focus and energy.
- Execute a demanding workload efficiently, completing extensive restocking and recovery duties accurately and timely.
- Meet the physical demands of the job, including prolonged standing, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing actions consistently to meet store presentation standards.

Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.45.
