Produce Stocker

Role overview

As a Produce Stocker with Walmart Canada, you’ll help keep the produce department organized, well-stocked, and customer-ready while delivering helpful service aligned with the company’s core values. This role is a strong fit for someone interested in retail or customer service and wanting to build practical store operations experience.

Key duties

• Keep the produce department neat and well organized.
• Monitor inventory movement, rotate stock, and remove items past their expiry date.
• Make sure products are clearly signed and accurately priced.
• Follow cold-chain standards, including thermometer calibration, temperature logs, food-handling rules, product rotation, sell-by tracking, and expiration controls.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards throughout the department.
• Carry out ordering-related tasks and handle clearance, markdowns, markups, signage, labels, and pricing steps correctly.
• Ensure the department is fully stocked and ready for customers.
• Work in line with health and safety requirements.
• Stock merchandise and picks, downstock when needed, apply product protection where required, and complete modulars, flex modulars, and new shelf-cap setups.

Pay information

The starting hourly pay for this position is $18.05.

Minimum qualifications

Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
