Role summary

This role is responsible for handling the full procurement cycle for facilities management services, materials, and contracts in a healthcare setting. The objective is to keep costs under control, ensure all purchasing activity follows the required standards, and support smooth, uninterrupted hospital operations.

Core responsibilities

• Identify, source, and purchase facilities management services such as MEP, HVAC, soft services, waste management, utilities, and annual maintenance contracts.
• Draft RFQs and RFPs, review submitted quotations and proposals, negotiate commercial and contractual terms, and complete contract award processes.
• Track supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs, and manage contract renewals when due.
• Monitor and maintain inventory for consumables, tools, and spare parts used for FM operations.
• Ensure purchasing activity aligns with healthcare compliance requirements and applicable safety standards, including DHA, DOH, and MOHAP rules.
• Keep procurement documentation, reports, and supporting records organized and ready for audits.
• Work closely with facilities management, engineering, and clinical teams to respond quickly to procurement requirements.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
• Applicants should have 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement within healthcare or facilities management.
• Strong understanding of FM procurement categories and AMC handling is needed.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics is expected.
• CIPS or CPSM certification is preferred.
