Position overview
Missoula County is building a hiring list for Probationary Detention Officer roles within the Sheriff's Office. This is a full-time, entry-level probationary assignment designed for training and assessment at the Missoula County Detention Facility and the Montana Law Enforcement Academy.
The hourly wage for this role is $31.75.
What the role involves
Selected candidates will support the supervision, care, and transport of inmates at the detention center, along with other related duties as assigned.
Application timeline and testing
- Completed applications are being accepted through July 24, 20.
- Applying by the deadline is strongly encouraged.
- Testing will take place in Missoula, Montana on August 1, 20.
- Remote testing is not offered for this process.
- Applicants who qualify will receive an email invitation to the testing event during the week of July 27, 20.
