Overview
This role is designed for a wealth advisor who wants to spend all of their time on business growth. As a Private Client Director with Fisher Investments Australasia Pty Ltd (FIA), you will concentrate on bringing in New Zealand high-net-worth wholesale clients. The company provides qualified leads, so there is no cold calling requirement. FIA operates as a subsidiary of Fisher Investments, a privately held global investment firm based in the United States with multi-billion-dollar assets under management.
You will represent Fisher’s mission of putting clients first and improving the investment universe.
Opportunity
This is a high-earning position that lets you run your territory from home while covering a local area that is within driving distance. In this role, you will present FIA’s wealth management solutions to high-net-worth investors who have NZD 1 million or more available to invest. You will report to FIA’s General Manager and work with support from Fisher Investments’ global teams, including marketing and portfolio management.
Day-to-Day Work
- Reach out to leads produced by Fisher’s marketing team.
- Speak with high-net-worth wholesale prospects to understand their financial objectives and recommend suitable solutions.
- Explain FIA’s product and service offerings to potential clients.
- Convert qualified wholesale investors into FIA clients.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience selling financial services or investment products directly to high-net-worth investors.
- A clean regulatory history with the relevant authorities.
- A proven record of winning high-net-worth private wholesale clients over multiple years.
- Experience handling high-volume phone-based sales activity as well as face-to-face meetings.
