Role Overview

As Principal of the Railways CDC Training Centre, you will spearhead the design and execution of competency frameworks, skill enhancement pathways, and structured educational programs tailored for employees, customers, and professionals within the Railways sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of innovative digital learning platforms and global e-learning content integrated into Learning Management Systems.
• Perform thorough organizational skill-gap analyses and introduce targeted learning initiatives that align with business goals.
• Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with railway bodies, academic institutions, and related industry entities to propel workforce development efforts.
• Guide and mentor trainers and subject experts to bolster teaching effectiveness and maximize learner outcomes.
• Oversee the establishment and management of a comprehensive training center, including on-site residential hostel facilities for trainees.
• Manage budgeting processes for training activities, allocate resources efficiently, oversee training infrastructure, and supervise vendor relationships.
• Devise and implement structured skill development schemes for varied personnel levels, spanning technical, operational, supervisory, and managerial roles.
• Formulate competency management strategies, training policies, and develop training modules to fulfill organizational objectives.
