Overview
The President & CEO will provide dynamic leadership for the American Cleaning Institute (ACI), a prominent nonprofit trade organization serving the US cleaning products sector. This role involves guiding the organization through its next phase, enhancing member services, and maintaining the organization's financial, legal, and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leading a diverse Board of Directors encompassing up to 25 members representing both large and small companies that account for 90% of the national cleaning products market. Overseeing a professional staff of about 35 employees and managing an annual budget of $15 million. Driving ACI’s mission, vision, strategic objectives, policies, and initiatives to expand its influence and effectiveness nationally.
Organizational Vision
ACI aims to foster growth and innovation in the US cleaning products industry by promoting health, quality of life, and environmental stewardship through a foundation of sound science and authoritative advocacy for an industry valued at $57.4 billion.
Membership and Benefits
ACI represents manufacturers of household, industrial, and institutional cleaning products, their ingredients and packaging, oleochemical producers, and chemical distributors. Members benefit from:
