Primary Responsibilities
- Safely hang garments to proceed through the steam tunnel processing.
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of all garments to identify any tears, holes, stains, or other damages.
- Ensure that each garment meets the stringent UniFirst 10-point uniform inspection criteria.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines received during training.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate verbally with supervisors.
- Competency in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction of two-digit numbers, multiplication, and division by 10s and 100s.
- Familiarity with American standard units for measurements such as weight, volume, and distance.
- Physical capacity to lift up to 10 pounds and push loads weighing up to 25 pounds.
