Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Postperson with a valid full UK manual driving license to join our team at the Crawley Delivery Office (RH10 1AA). This permanent position requires working 37 hours per week over 5 days, including rota-based Sunday shifts from 10:30 to 19:30. Your daily hours will typically be 9 hours between 06:00 and 19:30.

About the Role

As a Postperson, you will play a vital part in delivering mail and parcels to your local community rain or shine, connecting people and businesses. This role involves physical activity like walking for extended periods and delivering excellent customer service as a friendly, approachable face in the neighborhood.

Qualifications and Characteristics

  • Must have a full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Positive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Well-organized, punctual, and dedicated to customer satisfaction.
  • Enjoy being a community-oriented people-person.
  • Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions and physically fit to walk long distances.
  • Strong sense of pride in contributing to the community.
