About the role

Ability WA is looking for enthusiastic Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioners who are motivated to improve the lives of people with disability. The role is based across Perth, with flexible working from home as well as office hub locations in the north (Wanneroo and Yanchep), central (Coolbinia), and south (Murdoch).

Permanent roles are available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

About you

  • You already hold, or are suitable to work at, Core, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist PBS Practitioner level, and have an NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission outcome letter with your provider number.
  • If your qualification requires it, you have the relevant professional registration, such as in Social Work, Speech Pathology, Psychology or Occupational Therapy.
  • You have prior experience working as a PBS Practitioner.
  • You can produce high-quality clinical work and written documentation that meets NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission standards.
  • You have experience in the disability sector and have supported customers with complex needs effectively.
  • You hold a current National Police Clearance no older than 6 months, a valid driver’s licence, NDIS Workers Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Screening check, Working with Children Check, and COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
