We are currently recruiting a Planning Engineer (Scheduling Assistant) to contribute to the Bhopal Metro project, based onsite in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project master schedule aligned with proposal requirements utilizing Primavera P6 software.
- Identify deliverables, milestones, tasks, and staffing needs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across project phases through a structured project measurement system.
- Implement work schedules and oversee progress with regular reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor project progress continuously, anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks, and manage package work plans to meet or exceed delivery timelines.
- Coordinate internal reviews of project schedules and progress, followed by client approvals; update schedules and keep management and project leadership informed consistently.
- Ensure that project control documents such as resource histograms, schedules, reporting systems, and material control systems are fully prepared and reviewed by Construction Management while addressing Engineering and Procurement interface requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Director, Resident Project Manager, Head of Projects Acquisition and Delivery or their authorized representatives.
- Adhere strictly to compliance and auditing standards ensuring ethical and transparent operations in alignment with all DB E&C policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess an Engineering Degree or Diploma.
- Degree holders must have at least 5 years of relevant experience; Diploma holders require a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Previous involvement in major infrastructure projects for a minimum of 2 years is essential.
