Job Overview
Join Purplle.com's warehouse team in Kochi, Kerala, as a Picker and Packer, playing a vital role in efficient order fulfillment and inventory handling within a dynamic warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
- Accurately select products from shelves using order lists or handheld scanners.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transportation.
- Verify product quantity, SKU codes, and quality prior to packing.
- Correctly label packages to ensure proper dispatch.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Maintain organized stock arrangements and aid in stock audits.
- Adhere to warehouse safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure the warehouse maintains cleanliness, hygiene, and complies with 5S methodology.
- Support supervisory staff with daily workflow activities.
- Consistently achieve daily productivity and accuracy benchmarks.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Basic literacy to read and understand order sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, walk, and handle lifting and moving of products during shifts.
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and maintain discipline.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with mobile or handheld scanner use is preferred.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum educational qualification: 10th pass, Plus Two, or any degree holder.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, FMCG, or e-commerce sectors is advantageous.
- Male candidates preferred for warehouse roles, depending on business requirements.
