Job description
Overview
Join Thyrocare Technologies Pvt Ltd as a Phlebotomist specialized in home-based blood sample collection. In this role, you will visit patients’ residences to safely collect blood samples, perform ECGs, and ensure accurate paperwork while upholding strict hygiene and patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to patients’ homes following a predetermined schedule to collect samples.
- Perform blood extractions using Vacutainer and other safe collection techniques with accuracy.
- Carry out ECG tests as needed.
- Accurately fill out and confirm Medical Examination Report (MER) forms.
- Ensure correct labeling, barcoding, and documentation for all collected samples.
- Adhere to infection control measures and safety guidelines consistently.
- Maintain the cold chain for samples and guarantee their prompt delivery to the laboratory.
- Provide courteous and patient-centered service while clearly explaining test procedures and fasting instructions when necessary.
- Collect payments when applicable and update the collection status digitally.
- Keep daily records of sample collection and attendance.
- Collaborate with reporting teams to facilitate smooth operational flow.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Certification in DMLT or MLT is mandatory; B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualifications are also acceptable.
- Minimum of 6 months experience performing Vacutainer blood collection is required.
- Prior experience in home sample collection is preferred.
- Possession of a two-wheeler with a valid driving license is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel within a 15 km radius during working hours.

Working Hours
