Role Overview
The People & Culture Executive is responsible for managing daily HR operations ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. Key duties include payroll coordination with third-party vendors, financial reporting, recruitment management, work pass handling, onboarding/offboarding procedures, maintaining employee documentation and HRIS records, and driving internal communications and employee engagement endeavors.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate full-cycle payroll activities via the external payroll provider, guaranteeing punctual salary disbursal and preparing monthly payroll financial reports.
- Handle recruitment workflows such as talent sourcing, job advertisement, candidate evaluation, interview arrangements, and onboarding assistance.
- Manage foreign employee work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and ensure compliance with governmental employment mandates.
- Oversee the administrative and compliance tasks linked with employee onboarding and separation, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Draft and manage all employment lifecycle documents including contracts, confirmations, promotions, transfers, and termination letters.
- Coordinate the development and dissemination of internal communications and newsletters to foster employee engagement and culture.
- Maintain HRIS and employee records meticulously adhering to company policies and data privacy standards.
- Support a variety of HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs, events, surveys, and training activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in HR administration or an HR generalist capacity.
- Proven involvement in payroll processes and HR administrative functions.
- Knowledge and experience in managing work passes alongside familiarity with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations.
- Competence with HRIS systems and digital record management protocols.
- Experience in employee engagement, internal communication efforts, or event coordination is advantageous.
