Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Processor to join our team, tasked with managing comprehensive payroll duties and ensuring accuracy and compliance across multi-state operations.
Key Qualifications
- Proven expertise with Workday payroll software.
- At least three years of experience processing payroll across multiple states.
- Strong computer proficiency, including data entry and effective time management.
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
- High precision and meticulousness in handling data.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute diverse record keeping and payroll processing tasks with precise calculation of wages and overtime.
- Review and verify timekeeping records for compliance with the company’s standards.
- Manage processing of manual payouts and off-cycle payroll runs.
- Conduct audits on payroll data to confirm accuracy.
- Approach tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
- Communicate efficiently with employees, supervisors, and stakeholders.
- Investigate and address employee payroll inquiries promptly.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies through information gathering and analysis.
- Demonstrate readiness to take on additional payroll team responsibilities.
