Job Overview

We are seeking a Payroll Executive based in Mawal, Maharashtra, to oversee and manage payroll functions efficiently. This role requires close coordination with various Functional Heads to ensure employees receive timely and accurate salary payments while maintaining compliance with applicable taxation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain payroll entries using MS Office and payroll software, ensuring accuracy and completeness including management of payroll masters.
  • Generate and analyze payroll MIS reports including data on non-reporting employees and resignations.
  • Apply and monitor leave policies precisely by updating employee leave records correctly.
  • Manage payroll processing for approximately 800 to 1500 employees while handling daily entries such as new joiners across multiple platforms like Excel sheets, ESSL, and IDS.
  • Compile and produce daily management attendance reports for Heads of Departments and new joiner trackers.
  • Create monthly payroll summaries and reports, including HRA, uniform deductions, staff debits, increments, overtime calculations, mobile reimbursements, ICare details, TDS, arrears, PF, ESIC, and salary grievances.
  • Maintain employee data on non-reporting, resignation, and exit records including timely removal from HRMS.
  • Support audit activities via monthly payroll audit files and daily verification of leave applications.
  • Prepare detailed salary statements for various sectors such as residential phases, water, transport, sales and marketing, and cafeteria operations.
  • Generate payslips and oversee full and final settlements for departing employees.
  • Report directly to the Payroll Manager and collaborate extensively with department heads and staff members to ensure smooth operations.

Performance Indicators

  • Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements to approximately 1800 employees.
  • Meet annual compliance requirements estimated at around 100 regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • B.Com or Hotel Management degree is the minimum educational requirement.
  • At least 3 years of independent experience in payroll management is essential.

Skill Set and Knowledge

  • Strong familiarity with payroll software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organizational record-keeping skills and interpersonal abilities.
