About the Role
Menzies Aviation, a leading partner in global aviation logistics since 1833, is seeking dedicated individuals to join its passenger services team in New York, NY. Our organization operates across more than 300 sites worldwide in 65 countries, delivering critical services with pride and passion at the center of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Check in passengers digitally for both international and domestic flights.
- Assign seats to travelers according to flight arrangements.
- Confirm passengers’ documentation for various flight types.
- Provide correct boarding passes to passengers for assigned charter flights.
- Verify ticket and reservation details thoroughly.
- Ensure passenger manifests align with actual onboard counts.
- Assist in fulfilling requirements set by governmental authorities.
- Operate boarding equipment such as Jetways and stairs when needed.
- Make announcements regarding arrivals and departures as required.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Employees must take active responsibility for their own health and safety and that of others by adhering to training and safety policies. Menzies Aviation enforces strict policies against substance misuse through regular testing to maintain a secure workplace environment.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Valid Driver’s License and any FAA-required identification must be held and maintained.
- Fluent in English – reading, writing, and speaking.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable performing duties indoors and outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
- Physical capability to lift, push and pull up to 70 pounds consistently.
