In this role, you will be integral to the daily functioning of the site, reporting directly to the Site Manager. Your responsibilities span across multiple facets of site operations including handling raw materials, storage management, production, dispatch, and maintaining housekeeping standards. You are expected to uphold strict safety protocols consistent with CRH and Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards.

This position is located at Swainspark Industrial Estate, Park Road, Swadlincote DE12 6JT, England. It is a full-time role requiring participation in a rotating shift system covering early mornings, afternoons, and nights: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, and 10pm–6am. Given the location and shift hours, personal transportation is highly advisable.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed daily production goals.
• Record and report accurate quality data.
• Manage loading and unloading activities for plant and vehicular products.
• Ensure prompt and precise dispatch operations to satisfy customer requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs across the workplace.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a similar production and dispatch setting is essential.
• Communication skills and numeracy competencies are important.
• Possession of a mobile plant licence specifically for diesel counterbalance forklift operation is advantageous.
• Effective team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Experience in manual handling tasks is beneficial.
