Role Overview

The Operations Quality Technician plays an essential role in preserving the integrity of the quality system within the production environment. This role involves working within a 4-shift cycle to ensure compliance with site and divisional policies and fostering cooperation across departments including R&D, Technical, Engineering, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs to meet operational goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the quality management system's effectiveness and compliance.
• Ensure production of safe, effective products that fulfill customer expectations.
• Support engineering functions by gathering and documenting data accurately.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives relating to quality systems.
• Manage and uphold quality and compliance documentation standards.
• Promptly identify and report any quality or compliance concerns.
• Present quality status updates, report on metrics, and suggest improvements.
• Prepare and maintain audit readiness within the assigned area.
• Identify and implement projects to improve quality systems and product quality.
• Assist in decision-making regarding quality and compliance during manufacturing and testing phases.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum NFQ Level 6 qualification in Engineering, Science, or Manufacturing disciplines.
• At least two years of relevant experience within food, medical, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
