Role overview

This contract position is for a Retail Operations Manager supporting a client’s store operations remotely from anywhere in the world. The main objective is to keep daily retail activities running smoothly, support compliance, and help improve customer experience while working closely with teams across functions to align operational plans with wider business goals.

Core responsibilities

Oversee and improve store-level workflows covering inventory control, staffing coordination, and customer service operations.
Track, analyze, and share performance indicators such as sales results, customer traffic, and inventory turnover.
Create and roll out operational guidelines and procedures that strengthen store performance and regulatory compliance.
Work with regional leaders to ensure local store execution supports broader commercial strategy.
Coach, train, and support store teams on operational standards and best practices.

Required background and skills

Prior experience in retail operations management or a closely related area is required.
Hands-on familiarity with retail management platforms and POS systems is necessary.
Strong analytical ability is needed to interpret sales trends and operational data.
The ability to guide, develop, and motivate teams in a high-paced retail setting is essential.
Understanding of inventory planning and supply chain coordination is preferred.
