Overview
Located in the Fashion & Watches & Fine Jewelry Boutique at the Mall of the Emirates, the Operations Manager oversees all support and back-office functions including inventory control, maintenance, aftersales, cash management, administration, and security operations. This leadership role demands a blend of strong team management, fashion enthusiasm, analytical capability, and collaboration to drive boutique success aligned with the commercial strategy and brand image.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Stock, Aftersales, Cash, and Administration teams ensuring full understanding and alignment with the brand's strategy.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated working environment through team engagement, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Act as a proactive problem solver to optimize organizational processes alongside team members.
- Partner with boutique management to synchronize retail teams with CHANEL’s strategic direction.
- Collaborate closely with the Boutique Director as a strategic partner in business oversight.
- Regularly analyze boutique sales and key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting progress and recommending action plans.
- Support management in detailed KPI analysis across business activities to inform category action plans and buying decisions.
- Oversee inventory management processes including annual and periodic inventories in partnership with the Stock Manager.
- Drive aftersales operations to enhance client satisfaction adhering to CHANEL standards alongside the Aftersales Manager.
- Manage staff scheduling in compliance with legal and internal policies, and supervise all permissions related to Police and Mall regulations.
- Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures with oversight from the Cashier Manager.
- Implement and monitor security measures protecting personnel, merchandise, and the boutique premises.
- Maintain boutique purchasing within budgetary constraints.
- Represent the brand's values externally and internally, uphold boutique procedures, and embody the CHANEL image in all decisions.
