Overview
Oversee and enhance the operations of a primary 30,000 sq. ft. facility and multiple parkout warehouses, ensuring adherence to company standards and budget while boosting efficiency, safety, and product quality. Handle diverse areas including inventory management, fleet coordination, warehouse oversight, staff supervision, and daily operation management to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize operational service effectiveness and efficiency through continuous improvement of systems, processes, and policies aligned with the organization’s mission.
- Maintain precise inventory levels by forecasting demand, addressing potential shortages, and ensuring prompt and cost-effective product delivery.
- Manage product orders using SAP, resolving discrepancies to guarantee accurate inventory reporting.
- Implement first-in, first-out (FIFO) product rotation in warehouses while meeting customer and account manager requirements.
- Maintain product destruction within targeted limits and conduct daily inventory checks verifying accuracy via SAP.
- Oversee fleet maintenance schedules to minimize delivery disruptions through preventative care of delivery vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles regularly for cleanliness, damage, and wear, coordinating repairs promptly with minimal impact on operations.
- Manage vehicle incidents in collaboration with maintenance providers and insurers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards such as CVOR.
- Recruit, train, oversee, and develop warehouse staff, managing performance through feedback, coaching, disciplinary actions, and reviews in partnership with the General Sales Manager as needed.
- Active participation as a member of the Ontario Leadership Team to contribute to strategic operations decisions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with computer-based ordering systems and various IT platforms.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Capability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Strong leadership abilities to mentor, train, and provide constructive feedback.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Educational background of at least a high school diploma (or equivalent) plus three years related experience, or a college diploma.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers an annual base salary ranging from $74,456 to $82,294, dependent on qualifications, skills, experience, and work location. Eligibility for an annual bonus is aligned with Red Bull’s bonus plan.
