About the Role

The strategy division at Dubai Airports is dedicated to defining the organization's direction, understanding industry trends, and turning those insights into remarkable customer experiences. As an Officer in Design, you will play a pivotal role in translating strategic goals into innovative and customer-focused products and services that set Dubai Airports apart globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in spearheading the advancement of customer experience and service design innovations across both Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) airports, aligning efforts with Dubai Airports’ future ambitions.
• Promote a customer-centric design ethos that ensures the design process places customers at the core, effectively balancing functional efficiency with emotional engagement along every interaction point.
• Convert intricate operational, infrastructural, and customer-related challenges into seamless, distinctive experience solutions that delight travelers within the airport environment.
• Collaborate closely with Operational Design, Research, and Customer Service Delivery units, utilizing data-driven insights to guide concept development and design choices.
• Guarantee that customer experience initiatives are seamlessly incorporated into infrastructure designs and major capital ventures from initial concept to implementation.
• Develop solutions that are financially sound, enhance commercial value, meet operational needs, and improve customer satisfaction beyond baseline expectations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Between 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in the design field.
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and electrical design software.
• Proven experience in designing research methodologies combining qualitative and quantitative techniques to guide and justify design decisions based on customer insights.
