Role Overview
An Office Assistant plays a vital role in supporting daily administrative functions by managing various clerical duties, aiding staff members, and facilitating smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and redirect incoming phone calls and emails efficiently.
- Welcome visitors and offer general information courteously.
- Maintain, organize, and manage both physical and digital filing systems.
- Arrange appointments, meetings, and keep calendars updated.
- Prepare necessary documents, reports, and presentations.
- Perform data entry tasks and keep records current.
- Oversee office supply inventory and reorder as required.
- Assist with elementary bookkeeping, including processing invoices, receipts, and monitoring expenses.
- Manage distribution of mail and coordinate courier services.
- Provide administrative support to other staff members when required.
