Role Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for upkeep and repairs throughout the community grounds. Tasks include handling service requests concerning buildings, equipment, apartments, and vehicles ensuring timely, cost-effective maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and housekeeping tasks around community premises as assigned
- Complete service requests for repair and upkeep on buildings, grounds, apartments, equipment, and vehicles timely and efficiently
- Carry out routine maintenance including wall/floor covering repairs, furniture and fixture fixing, basic plumbing, minor electrical work, appliance repairs, painting, refurbishment, HVAC and refrigeration system maintenance, carpet and hard floor upkeep, and preparing rooms as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of one-year prior maintenance experience
- Proficient in painting tasks
- Ability and willingness to be on-call when required
- General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and code compliance
- Knowledgeable about OSHA, fire prevention, and life & safety regulations
- Capacity to respond to emergency calls outside usual work hours
- Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Sound judgment along with problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
