Night Support Worker - Full Time

Role Overview

We are looking for a committed and compassionate Night Support Worker to deliver overnight assistance at our hostel accommodation service. This full-time position involves 35 hours per week, working night shifts from 21:15 to 07:30 on a cycle of three shifts on followed by three shifts off. The role is site-based in the Greater Leeds area.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of residents throughout the night by monitoring the premises and responding to any concerns or incidents promptly and appropriately.
• Provide reassurance and support to residents, upholding house rules and expectations.
• Maintain accurate records, conduct thorough handovers between shifts, and report any maintenance issues or concerns.
• Support the efficient operation of our Intensive Housing Management service.
• Work closely with daytime staff to guarantee continuity of care and support.
• Manage safeguarding, health and safety, and emergency situations confidently and professionally in adherence to organisational policies.
• Collaborate with housing providers, emergency services, partner agencies, and colleagues to maintain a safe and person-centred service.
