Role Overview
We are looking for a committed and compassionate Night Support Worker to deliver overnight assistance at our hostel accommodation service. This full-time position involves 35 hours per week, working night shifts from 21:15 to 07:30 on a cycle of three shifts on followed by three shifts off. The role is site-based in the Greater Leeds area.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of residents throughout the night by monitoring the premises and responding to any concerns or incidents promptly and appropriately.
- Provide reassurance and support to residents, upholding house rules and expectations.
- Maintain accurate records, conduct thorough handovers between shifts, and report any maintenance issues or concerns.
- Support the efficient operation of our Intensive Housing Management service.
- Work closely with daytime staff to guarantee continuity of care and support.
- Manage safeguarding, health and safety, and emergency situations confidently and professionally in adherence to organisational policies.
- Collaborate with housing providers, emergency services, partner agencies, and colleagues to maintain a safe and person-centred service.

- Approachable, dependable, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting vulnerable adults.
- Flexibility to work night shifts including weekends and bank holidays is essential.
