Nanny / Childminder in London Area

Overview

We are seeking experienced Nannies or Childcare Providers for flexible childcare roles in London and nearby areas. As a Back-Up Nanny with British Nannies, you will support multiple families by providing high-quality in-home care when regular caregivers are unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, caring, and stimulating childcare within children's homes.
• Adhere to each family's unique routines and instructions.
• Establish and maintain trustworthy relationships with children and their parents.
• Adapt to the distinctive needs of different children and households.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and the agency’s support team.

Essential Requirements

• At least 3 years of paid experience as a nanny or childcare provider, or 2 years with relevant qualifications like Level 2/3 Childcare, Early Years, CACHE, or NVQ.
• Current or willingness to acquire a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• Possession of an Enhanced DBS Certificate obtained within the last year or registered with the Update Service.
• Reliable, punctual, and strong communicator.
• Self-driven, well-organized, and able to work independently.

Job Types and Working Hours

• Roles include live-out nanny, emergency nanny, temporary nanny, childcare worker, babysitter, and childminder.
• Shift patterns range from 4 to 12 hours, covering day, night, weekends, school holidays, and term time.
• Opportunities for overtime available.

Compensation and Benefits
