Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of loans within specific builder communities, ensuring meticulous collection, follow-up, and review of all required documentation in compliance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA standards. This role demands preparing files for underwriting approval, pre-closing, and final closing stages while maintaining effective communication with borrowers, builders, and team members to uphold exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process loans associated with designated builder communities, maintaining a robust loan pipeline.
• Collect, follow up on, and thoroughly review loan documentation according to relevant guidelines to facilitate seamless loan closing and saleability.
• Update loan files 45 to 60 days prior to the closing date, preparing them for final underwriting and pre-closing evaluation.
• Assess and ensure fulfillment of all underwriting conditions for loan approval.
• Maintain continuous communication with borrowers, builders, and the assigned team to provide high levels of customer service and support.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of experience working in the mortgage industry.
• Familiarity with real estate and mortgage-related terminology is advantageous.
• Experience handling government loans (FHA, VA) is a preferred asset.
• Strong capabilities in communication, analytical thinking, and numerical skills are essential for success in this role.
