Role Overview
Valtera Group Ltd is looking to hire two Microbiology Technicians on a 12-month full-time contract to join a leading sterile manufacturing microbiology team in Galway, Ireland. The positions primarily focus on microbiological investigations, reviewing documentation, and analyzing data rather than conducting routine testing, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals aiming to deepen their involvement in GMP settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiology investigations and evaluate deviations.
- Review GMP records and related microbiology documentation.
- Analyze microbiological data to assess impacts on product quality.
- Assist with root cause analyses and CAPA initiatives.
- Support media fill procedures and maintain related documentation.
- Participate in Gemba investigations and provide manufacturing assistance.
- Offer microbiological expertise to environmental monitoring programs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and project-related activities.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a degree in Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Have substantial experience in pharmaceutical, biologics, or biopharmaceutical microbiology roles.
- Experience within sterile manufacturing environments is essential.
- Strong knowledge of microbiological investigations, handling deviations, and CAPA processes.
- Comprehension of media fill procedures and contamination control principles is required.
- Well-versed in reviewing GMP documentation and laboratory records.
- Experience with MODA, LIMS, or automated microbiology platforms is beneficial.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
