Role Overview

The Merchant position at Qist Bazaar is a full-time, in-office role based in Karachi. The main responsibilities entail managing and updating product listings, ensuring prices and installment details are accurate, and coordinating with suppliers to keep stock levels adequate across all categories. This role also involves overseeing marketplace performance, analyzing demand trends, advising on new product additions to fuel business growth, and maintaining compliance with company policies.

Key Duties

• Verify and upkeep accuracy of product information and listings.
• Resolve any listing discrepancies or technical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align promotions with product offerings.
• Provide product-related support to customer service teams.
• Contribute to streamlining operational processes to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

Qualification Requirements

• Experience in marketplace or retail operations including product listing management and inventory coordination.
• Strong data entry skills and meticulous documentation with basic data analysis capabilities to monitor product performance.
• Understanding of pricing strategies, promotions, and installment-based sales formats, ideally in e-commerce or consumer electronics sectors.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for working with suppliers and internal departments.
• Proficiency in office productivity software and familiarity with online marketplace platforms.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
• Experience in merchandising, category management, or retail/e-commerce is a plus.
• Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or similar fields, or possesses equivalent practical experience.
