MEP Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous MEP Engineer to become an integral part of our team. The selected candidate will take charge of designing, coordinating, installing, and managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various construction projects. This role demands solid technical expertise, effective collaboration abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and synchronize MEP systems including HVAC, electrical wiring, plumbing networks, and fire safety installations.
• Oversee the installation phases of MEP work to guarantee adherence to the project's defined specifications and approved design plans.
• Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and other involved parties to ensure seamless project execution.
• Assess technical submissions such as shop drawings and material proposals for compliance and accuracy.
• Perform on-site inspections along with system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure operational excellence.
• Track project milestones, ensuring quality control and safety practices while striving for on-time delivery.
• Guarantee all activities comply with applicable local building codes, safety laws, and sector standards.
• Compile detailed technical reports, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and necessary project documentation for record-keeping and progress reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Between three and five years of practical MEP engineering experience within the construction sector.
• In-depth familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Competency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication capabilities paired with excellent organizational and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to perform both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment.
