Role Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a full-time Member of Technical Staff specializing in AI Engineering. This remote position entails designing, developing, and deploying AI and machine learning models capable of running at scale. The role demands expertise in enhancing the performance of expansive inference systems and creating architectural solutions suited for high-performance computing environments. You will work closely with various teams to embed AI functionalities into live production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable AI/ML pipelines encompassing model training, inference optimization, and deployment processes.
- Build and maintain efficient high-performance computing infrastructure tailored for AI workloads to maximize resource use.
- Partner with software engineers to integrate AI models seamlessly into production applications and services.
- Enhance AI model efficiency using advanced methods such as quantization, pruning, and hardware acceleration techniques.
- Stay abreast of state-of-the-art AI/ML practices and incorporate them to boost system performance and precision.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Strong command of Python programming and hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Familiarity with distributed computing tools like Apache Spark or Dask for processing large datasets.
- Proficiency with cloud service providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure alongside containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of AI model deployment platforms such as ONNX and TensorRT, with practical skills in inference optimization techniques.
- Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and established software engineering methodologies.
