Medical Affairs Project Coordinator/Analyst

About the Role

Join Vancouver Coastal Health as a Medical Affairs Project Coordinator/Analyst based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This position supports various leadership portfolios within Medical Affairs, including Provider Strategic Initiatives, Medical Affairs operations, and the Vancouver Acute Residency Program. The role involves advancing physician engagement, medical leadership, digital health, quality improvement, medical education, and broader organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver project coordination, business analysis, and operational assistance across multiple Medical Affairs portfolios.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and report on several concurrent projects, strategic initiatives, and committee activities in collaboration with medical professionals, leadership, operational stakeholders, trainees, and external partners.
• Manage project administration tasks such as stakeholder collaboration, meeting facilitation, action tracking, risk and issue assessment, process documentation, communication, and preparation of project materials to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships internally and externally to foster effective communication and collaboration among clinical, operational, academic, and administrative teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and experience in Health, Social Sciences, Planning, Business Administration, or Health Administration.
• At least five years of relevant experience in roles such as administration, project management, or business operations within healthcare, social services, government, or community sectors.
• Experience in research support, project coordination, or policy analysis is also applicable.

Working hours, days off, and work locations may vary based on operational needs and collective agreements. Successful candidates may need to undergo a Criminal Records Review Check. Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is CAD $32.44 to $46.64.
