Job Overview

As a Mechanical Integration Engineer at AirQ, you will contribute to the design and integration of complex aerospace vehicle systems. This role involves collaborating on conceptual design studies, performing system-level trade-off analyses, and ensuring cohesive integration across mechanical, avionics, propulsion, and payload subsystems to create a manufacturable and serviceable vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in initial design studies to influence overall system architecture and evaluate various trade-offs.
  • Integrate components such as airframe, propulsion, avionics, payloads, and launch/recovery systems into a unified vehicle design.
  • Establish mounting interfaces ensuring mechanical and avionics system compatibility.

  • Proactively identify risks in integration during early design stages and work collaboratively with subsystem teams to resolve them.
