About the Role

W Hotels in Doha is looking for a Massage Therapist to deliver professional spa treatments and support a high-quality guest experience. The role sits within the Spa category and is a non-management, full-time position based in West Bay, Zone 61, Doha, Qatar.

What You’ll Do

You will provide massage and body treatment services using appropriate products, props, scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy methods. Before any service begins, you will review guest needs and check for any contraindications such as allergies, high blood pressure, or pregnancy. You will also guide guests to and from treatment rooms, prepare the workstation and draping, and stay attentive throughout the appointment to ensure comfort, safety, and privacy.

Part of the role involves recommending and promoting spa and salon offerings, including related retail products. You will keep tools clean and sterilized, maintain a tidy treatment area throughout the shift, and dispose of waste and used linens properly. You will also manage time carefully so that appointments stay on schedule and escalate any inappropriate guest conduct according to company procedures, including stopping a service if needed and informing a supervisor.

In addition, you will need to maintain your current licensing and service skills as required by regional rules, follow safety and company procedures, complete required training, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold professional appearance, confidentiality, and service standards. The job also requires clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and handling items up to 10 pounds.

Requirements

The position calls for a technical, trade, or vocational school degree, along with at least 1 year of relevant work experience. A State or Regional Massage License is required. No supervisory experience is needed.
