Managing Partner - Energy & Oil and Gas Industry

About the Role

Join SAP as a Managing Partner based in Saudi Arabia, focusing on the Energy and Oil & Gas industry. You will be the primary leader responsible for fostering strategic, value-driven relationships with a key customer across upstream, downstream, and corporate sectors. Leveraging SAP’s internal network and partner ecosystem, you will support business transformation and digital initiatives within one of the largest integrated energy companies globally.

Key Duties

• Develop trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to align SAP's solutions with strategic business goals.
• Co-design a strategic roadmap prioritizing sustainable outcomes, digital transformation, asset management, and operational excellence.
• Lead coordination of a cross-functional team ensuring consistent engagement across corporate and affiliate units.
• Promote a collaborative, innovative culture that identifies growth opportunities throughout energy operations.
• Institute governance frameworks to synchronize SAP, partners, and customer leadership towards impactful outcomes.
• Drive expansion by utilizing SAP’s full solution suite, collaborating with integrators, hyperscalers, and consultants in the Energy domain.
• Collaborate on sales strategies focusing on net bookings and cloud revenue growth.
• Manage adoption and consumption of SAP Cloud services to grow revenues within the strategic account.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with senior executives to assess KPIs, value realization, and growth aligned with national energy transition goals.
• Monitor mergers, joint ventures, and new investments to position SAP advantageously while ensuring internal alignment.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in strategic account leadership within the Energy and Oil & Gas sectors with a strong grasp of industry challenges and digital transformation priorities.
• Established ability to nurture executive relationships in large, complex, government-affiliated organizations and manage governance models effectively.
• Expertise in value-based selling and strategic decision-making in multifaceted enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP solutions applicable to Energy and Oil & Gas and excellent skills in executive presentations and QBR leadership.
• Proven achievement in exceeding net booking and cloud revenue targets in the Energy industry.
• Experience working across multinational, government-linked organizations supporting innovation, operational efficiency, decarbonization, and growth.

Language Requirements

• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Arabic fluency is highly advantageous.
• Existing executive connections with the customer are a strong plus.
