Role Summary

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee and be responsible for the daily functioning of our fulfillment center. This role covers inbound logistics, inventory control, efficient product placement, fast order picking and packing, and outbound shipments for B2C and B2B sales channels. Ensuring spatial efficiency, perfect inventory accuracy, compliance with cosmetic storage and safety protocols, and scaling operations during peak periods are key focuses.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, sorting, cross-docking, put-away, cycle counts, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure outbound shipments meet packaging specifications required by various e-commerce platforms to prevent vendor penalties.
  • Enhance warehouse layout for efficient zoning of fast-moving items to reduce picking time and increase throughput.
  • Maintain warehouse conditions suited for cosmetics, including monitoring temperature to preserve product quality.
  • Ensure near-perfect inventory accuracy through regular physical counts and immediate updates to inventory systems.
  • Enforce FEFO and FIFO protocols rigorously to minimize product expiry-related losses.
  • Oversee return merchandise processing ensuring quality checks separate salable goods from damaged stock.
  • Serve as the primary user for Warehouse Management Systems and work with IT teams to resolve technical workflow issues.
  • Lead and develop warehouse supervisors, operators, and contract labor to achieve high productivity and retention.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, fire, and security regulations within the facility.
  • Manage third-party labor teams, adjusting workforce levels to meet fluctuating sales forecasts.
