About the Role

This opportunity is offered by a partner company based in Australia seeking a Manager, Product Line to spearhead the strategic advancement of innovative renewable energy products globally. This role involves owning the product strategy, roadmap, and commercial outcomes for a key portfolio that supports the transition to clean energy.

Collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and finance, you will convert customer needs into leading market solutions. Key Responsibilities

Lead product development efforts focused on solar energy solutions aligned to customer requirements and business goals.
Facilitate market share growth and defend competitive position through launching new products and expanding the portfolio.
Create and sustain detailed multi-year business plans including revenue, market share, margin objectives, and growth strategies.
Develop comprehensive product roadmaps highlighting innovation, new developments, acquisitions, and portfolio management.
Act as a subject matter expert internally and externally for your product line, integrating customer insights and market trends.
Represent the "Voice of the Customer" by translating market feedback into product design and strategy.
Assess market developments, competitor actions, financial analytics, and technological progress to uncover expansion opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing to develop persuasive product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market plans.
Build and nurture strong partnerships with customers, distributors, and strategic channels.
Report product performance, market intelligence, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership teams.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years in product management with a successful track record of product launches and lifecycle oversight.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams.
Experience in developing product strategies, business plans, and long-term roadmaps.
Expertise in pricing, forecasting, portfolio management, and market research.
Strong aptitude for converting customer insights into actionable product and business outcomes.
Excellent analytical skills to support strategic decision-making using relevant data.
Outstanding communication and presentation capabilities to influence a variety of stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with solid problem-solving and decisive judgment skills.
Proficient in business tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and CRM software.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business qualification is an advantage.
Willing and able to travel approximately 25-35% for meetings, industry events, supplier visits, and company sites.
