Manager of Solution Center

Role Overview

We are seeking a Manager to lead the Solution Center for a major client. This position is responsible for ensuring that projects on the roadmap are completed on time, within defined scope, budgets, and quality criteria, while also contributing to revenue growth. The role involves both strategic oversight and daily operational management of the Solution Center, including management of deliverables and fostering customer relationships to identify upselling opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure projects in the roadmap meet schedule, scope, quality, and budget demands while supporting revenue goals.
• Oversee the Solution Center’s overall budget and collaborate with business controlling teams on financial planning and reporting.
• Manage invoicing processes and support governance between customer and internal teams.
• Lead escalation of unresolved issues and facilitate both internal and external steering committee meetings.
• Determine resource requirements and coordinate resource allocation with line organizations.
• Identify commercial and financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Regularly monitor and report on ongoing issues and risks.
• Work closely with R&D teams to oversee Solution Center activities and maintain an aligned roadmap and master plan.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to support business development and strengthen customer relationships for service expansion.
• Manage customer expectations through governance and develop relationships with business and technical stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Ensure effective, timely communication and maintain proper documentation across all stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Hold a degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience managing complex IT programs in an international setting.
• Familiarity with Amadeus products and solutions is advantageous.
• Experience in solution delivery or program/project management within airline, travel, or e-commerce sectors is beneficial.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and environments.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or French is a plus.
