About the Role

OpenMind eDesign, a subsidiary of Symbiosis Educational Consultants (New York), partners with global universities and prominent EdTech companies to design and implement effective online curriculum. We are seeking a Manager of Learning Design to join our Bangalore team, creating impactful digital learning experiences and managing instructional design projects in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Men’s Shift: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM
  • Women’s Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Monday to Friday; Saturday hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Bonus applicable for working on Saturdays

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and develop learner-centered, instructionally robust eLearning solutions by analyzing learning requirements, budgets, and source content
  • Oversee and coordinate instructional design projects, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project objectives and document analysis & design (A&D)
  • Produce and evaluate storyboards for various levels of interactive learning
  • Create demo modules and practical lab exercises aligned with strategic learning objectives
  • Continuously update knowledge on eLearning innovations and best practices to enhance course materials
  • Execute additional related tasks as necessary

Role Requirements

  • A master’s degree, ideally in Instructional Design, English, Communication, or Education
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in instructional design, preferably within the education or eLearning sector
  • Superior verbal and written English communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management expertise
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and in-house teams
  • Strong analytical capability and quick adaptation to rapid authoring tools
  • Proficiency in crafting both high-level and detailed instructional designs grounded in adult learning theory
