Full-Time Management Controller Internship

About the Position

Christian Dior Couture offers a prestigious luxury brand experience that invites clients to become part of the heritage and passion of the House of Dior. We seek enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team and share in this legacy. Currently, we are searching for a dedicated Management Controller Intern to support our finance team with financial analysis and planning activities for Christian Dior Couture Northern Europe, reporting directly to the Head of FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Compile and scrutinize various financial reports, including daily and monthly sales figures and Profit & Loss templates.
• Assist in monthly commercial performance evaluations concerning sales, profit margins, staff and communications expenses, and other operational costs.
• Collaborate with Financial Accountants during monthly and quarterly closing activities and review the resulting financial statements.
• Compare actual expenditures against budgeted amounts, prepare revision reports, and highlight any overspending at the store level to management.
• Conduct monthly analysis of Key Performance Indicators, including sales breakdowns by customer nationality, product categories, and top sellers.
• Contribute to the budgeting process by preparing and submitting necessary reports within specified deadlines.
• Provide support for reconciliation processes within the Finance Department.
• Handle various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Proactive and motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Fluent in English language.
• Possesses an analytical mindset.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with SAP software.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Prior experience in finance roles is advantageous but not mandatory.

Additional Information

• This internship requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
• Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
• The internship duration is six months.
