Maintenance Manager - Security Systems and Fire Protection

Role Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager experienced in overseeing the service and repair of security systems including CCTV, Access Controls, Barriers, Baggage Scanners, and Fire Protection Systems. This position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and requires direct on-site presence. The role involves managing a large team and ensuring smooth operational maintenance and compliance of critical security infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement preventative maintenance schedules and conduct routine inspections, testing, and servicing to avoid unexpected system failures.
• Diagnose technical issues related to hardware malfunctions and network connectivity within security zones.
• Plan and execute updates for firmware and software on access control databases, NVRs/DVRs, and IP cameras to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
• Lead and supervise a team of over 50 technicians, allocate daily tasks, and perform performance reviews.
• Manage service requests efficiently through computerized maintenance management systems, ensuring timely resolution.
• Ensure 24/7 technical support coverage by organizing shift schedules for critical security incidents.
• Negotiate and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with external vendors for specialized repair work or major system upgrades.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and hardware components to guarantee parts availability during maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct regular security audits and site inspections to identify and rectify security vulnerabilities and breaches.
• Ensure all security and fire protection systems comply with local regulations and industry safety standards.
• Prepare and monitor annual maintenance budgets balancing repair expenses and capital replacements.
• Keep detailed maintenance logs and monitor key performance metrics such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).

Job Details and Work Conditions

• Six working days per week from 9 AM to 6 PM; Sundays off.
• Work location: Cunningham Road, Vasanth Nagar, Bengaluru - 560051 (near Vidhan Soudha).
• Employment directly with V-Tronik Innovation LLP; there is no contract or consultancy intermediary and no recruitment fees charged.

Additional Information

• Salary range between 40,000 to 50,000 INR per month, negotiable based on experience.
• Benefits include ESIC, Provident Fund (if eligible), insurance, bonuses, gratuity, statutory leaves, annual increments, travel allowance, and retention bonus after five years of service.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; typing proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Excel (including V Lookup, Pivot Tables, spreadsheet formulas) and Outlook email management are required.
• Preferably Kannada language skills.
