Job description
Job Overview
The role involves operating CNC machinery to manufacture components accurately according to engineering specifications. The machinist will handle setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC equipment, including large machines such as Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL).
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and run CNC machines to produce parts matching engineering drawings.
- Conduct detailed inspections and measurements to guarantee parts meet all quality standards and specifications.
- Operate Vertical Turning Lathes or other sizeable CNC machining tools, with relevant experience preferred.
- Identify and resolve problems occurring during CNC machine operation, including tooling and programming issues.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient integration of CNC machining processes within the production workflow.
- Strictly comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and uphold EHS responsibilities.
- Maintain product quality, care for machinery, sustain production pace, ensure clean work areas, and adhere to schedules.
- Perform any additional related tasks as assigned.
