Role Overview
Machine Learning Engineers at Valar Labs are responsible for developing clinical-grade AI solutions utilized globally by oncologists.
Key Duties
- Design and develop primary components of the deep learning platform
- Train deep learning models that are both robust and interpretable, addressing critical medical challenges
- Collaborate with medical oncologists to create specialized datasets that target key clinical questions
- Implement comprehensive deep learning solutions that span from initial research to deployment
Qualifications
- Published work in leading conferences or journals focusing on Medical AI
- Proficiency in building modular and reproducible machine learning platforms
- Strong grasp of PyTorch, PyTorch Lightning, and cloud infrastructure relevant to machine learning
- Proven experience deploying AI models in production environments
- Optional: familiarity with pathology data is advantageous
